The Film Making for Inclusion and Development Project is an Erasmus + project that began in November 2021, and ends in September 2023. The aim of the project is to strengthen the employability and personal skill set of young people, with a focus on marginalized youth, through increased digital readiness, resilience and capacity in the area of film making.  The project is designed to avoid repeating the mistakes of formal education provision, but instead put a great ephasis on skills’, usefulness and relevance on technologies taught, at the same time teaching the epathy and creativity needed to properly reach students in danger of exclusion.

Consortium members met at the first Transnational Partner Meeting in Schwerin on 18-19 July to discuss the next steps in project development. The meeting started with welcoming and presentation of partners. All partners presented their organizations. The coordinator presented the project development plan including deadlines of tasks and division of work between partners. Partners have agreed on all the upcoming activities.

To achieve these objectives, the project consortium will develop three project results:

    • PR1 – Video-making resources for employability and development of young people
    • PR2 – In-service training programme and handbook for youth educators
    • PR3 – Bespoke e-learning portal

The project is developed by six partners from six different EU countries:

    • Jugendförderverein Parchim/Lübz e. V. – Germany (project coordinator)
    • Acumen Training – Poland
    • Rightchallenge – Portugal
    • Siglo22 – Spain
    • Future In Perspective Ltd. – Ireland
    • CARDET – Cyprus
